How to - Use TimeCache with an iPhoneIf you're an iPhone user as well as a Mac user, you can take advantage of TimeCache 8.0's support for importing from Apple's iCal application to track your time on your iPhone. To do it: Step 1: While you're away from the office add your appointments to iCal running on your iPhone. Step 2: When you return, synch your iPhone with your Mac. Step 3: Use the Daily Log's iCal Entry... command in TimeCache to import your entries from iCal.
The trickiest part of the operation is entering appointments in iCal such that TimeCache can associate them with projects in your TimeCache data file. You can find complete information on doing that, including a couple of options, in the TimeCache Help section How to add an entry from iCal. Download a free copy of TimeCache 8.0 and give it a try yourself. Back |
