How to - Bill for a day rateAlthough TimeCache does not have a dedicated "day rate billing" function, it's easy to use TimeCache to bill for day rates. It's all based on the built-in support for retainer billing. Step 1: Create a retainer billing category for your day rate. Remember, a retainer billing category can be named anything you like, and you can have as many of them as you need. You can even change the abbreviation that appears in the "Hours" column of reports and invoices in TimeCache Preferences. Step 2: Add an entry to the Daily Log using that day rate billing category you created in Step 1, and enter the rate itself in the Charges column. That's all there is to it, other than making sure you choose the option to include retainer entries for reports or invoices. Download a free trial copy of TimeCache 9.0 and see for yourself. Back |
